THE POSITION

Washington County Behavioral Health Division within the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is recruiting for a Wraparound Care Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for both bilingual (Spanish/English) and non-bilingual candidates to apply.This is an exceptional opportunity to work with youth and families in Washington County and be a part of a team of passionate care coordinators!
is a team-based planning process that supports youth and their families with complex needs. The process begins with identifying the youth and family's strengths and needs and then collaboratively working with the family and team to create a plan to meet these needs.
About the opportunity:
Wraparound Care Coordinators work closely with youth, their family, and their Wraparound team to facilitate a fidelity Wraparound planning process. Youth and family voices are centered in all of the work in alignment with the ten Wraparound principles. Wraparound Care Coordinators work with youth and family peer partners; develop Plans of Care and safety plans; provide care coordination for youth with complex needs; conduct Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessments; connect youth and families with treatment providers; and collaborate with system of care/community partners.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Wraparound Care Coordinator is a working title. This position is classified as a Senior Mental Health Services Coordinator. Classification descriptions are typically written broadly. To review this classification, please use this link:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field; AND three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in providing case management or services coordination in a human services related field;
    AND
  • Must be certified by the Mental Health and Addictions Certification Board of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Professional or hold an approved clinical license and meet the criteria of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined in the Oregon Administrative Rules.Background Investigation:
    Please be advised that this position is required to pass a criminal background check post offer.

    Bilingual Positions:
    Designated bilingual positions require that the incumbent have knowledge of the Spanish language, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Skills in writing Spanish accurately; ability to speak Spanish fluently; and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing are required. If you possess these skills, you are encouraged to apply. An additional $75/per pay period for bilingual skills will be paid to qualified employees. Pay periods are every two weeks.
    Additionally, the bilingual position is eligible for a one-time payment up to $5,000. Eligible employees will receive a one-time payment after completing a minimum of two pay periods with the County and successfully completing a State criminal background check. This is only eligible for the Behavioral Health division employees who are assigned to a position which requires to hold a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential and/or a license from an Oregon Clinical Board including an LCSW, LMFT, licensed clinical psychologies, or LPC. In addition, the candidate also must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
